Professional Support & Meetings

One of the most important benefits of a BAISL membership is gaining the support and collective knowledge of other members through meetings, the BAISL Listserv, and the BAISL Ning.

BAISL Meetings

Three times during the school year BAISL members gather to:

• share information, conduct in-service workshops and visit other libraries,
• evaluate and upgrade professional services, i.e. discuss ways to teach research strategies to students and to provide curricular support to faculty,
• initiate networking and other cooperative projects,
• explore the integration of the new technologies into the library program.
• share recommendations on new resources and equipment.
• make new friends, connect with old ones and have fun!
